Nicolas Jackson from Gambia to Villarreal

Back in the early days, Nicolas Jackson’s football journey began in the heart of Africa. Nicolas was born in Gambia to Senegalese parents and quickly developed a passion and love for the beautiful game. He cut his teeth playing for local clubs in Senegal, honing his skills on dusty sandy pitches and under the scorching African sun. It was clear that he had a special talent and that talent soon led him to Casa Sports, a team in the Senegal Premier League. At Casa Sports club Jackson became a part of the first team squad during the 18/19 season and his contributions helped them achieve a respectable mid-table finish. Little did anyone know that this young talent was destined for greater heights.

In September 2019 Nicolas Jackson took a significant step in his career when he made a move to Spain. Jackson joined the ranks of Villarreal and although he initially found himself in the reserve team, it was a crucial stepping stone and a way to learn what to do and what kind of mentally to have. He showcased his skills and development, and this eventually led to an exciting loan spell with Segunda División side Mirandés during the 20/21 season. Nicolas made his professional debut just thirteen days after joining Mirandés, marking his presence in Spanish football. During his time with Mirandés, he managed to score his first professional goal, leaving a mark that hinted at the promising future that awaited this young Senegalese striker.

Jackson To A big club Chelsea

Jackson signed for Chelsea on a 8 year deal, it goes to show how much Chelsea think of him as a striker and have full faith in him. Nicolas started 6 games so far, he scored twice yeah it doesnt seem like its alot but Chelsea havent been creating enough chance to be honest. His stats are pretty remarkable too. Not only has he created significant goal-scoring opportunities and delivered crucial passes, but his dribbling skills have really stood out with a 72% success rate. Jackson have been good at duels both in ground and air winning 49%, Nicolas been good off the ball in winning the ball back making 2.6 recoveries per game. I see alot of Drogba in him, he can be aggressive and annoying to play against.

Catch you in the next one.
